I finally got around to setting up the quick single speed conversion for the pugsley. This involves an extra quick link in the correct place so if you break you dereailer you can switch wheels and take out a piece of chain without tools and be on your way. My gear ratio that lines up is 32 on the crankset and my freewheel is a 19 tooth. I will at some point get an other deore hub so that I can line up the cog with the 22 ring and have alot more options for single speed. That and I also hate freewheels (they are junk) unless you spend $100 or more on them and at that you might as well get a nice rear freehub and single speed cogs.
