Century 2
They Say you have to do something crazy to get one of these jerseys ===>
In reality it's continuing to do crazy things over and over again. I always remind myself when I out on the road I asked Rick once 'why don't we short cut on the trail instead of climbing this B road' and he told me 'thats why were faster than you'.

This should have indicated this road was closed, but all it said to me was Cyclocross |
This also wouldn't have stopped me, but the electric fence on the other side of it told me no. They don't put up electric fence to keep people out, but to keep animals in. 8 mile detour. |

N + 1 = the right number of bikes
So I'm always planning something, and I'm currently saving up for a new toy. I won't say what but I have chosen some of the parts. Here are a couple
That is all I'm giving away now, but hopefully if the bonuses play out this year I can be assembling a new bike around the end of the year.

Here is my 2 cents for BP
Today is the one year anniversary of the big spill. Who knows what actually happened since a large corporation (BP) made a mess and another large corporation (us government) helped them cover it up. I'm actually not going to talk about politics, blame or any of that because I don't care. I'm not even a 'tree hugger' however I do like trees I own a couple, and I like wood furniture and other wood products. So I'm not an environmentalist, but I do live here. So I actually haven't given 2 cents to them yet (haven't drove to work even once in the last 18 months!) and as far as I care gas can be $20 a gallon. Maybe then we could come up with some other fuel for our car then. So heres to you BP....

Jandd Frame Pack Review
I got my Jandd frame bag a couple months ago and have got the opportunity to really test it out so far. It's been on most of my bikes. Overall the thing is almost perfect as indispensable as the seat bag (I also use a Jandd seat bag) I've carried many things in the bag and have been impressed with holding capacity. It will hold my (not all at once of course) Camera, wallet, pump, multi-tool, a decent amount of food, a 24oz can of beer, 2 16 oz cans of beer, gloves, hats.... and so on. I was impressed that it is water proof. It also works on large and medium frame bikes without reducing you to one water bottle. The only negative is the straps on the one end are kind of odd and I don't know why they didn't use velcro instead of clamps.
So if you do any distance I suggest one of these, I like it better than my Arkel handlebar bag.

I'm adding to this after Almonzo 100 mud fest. After almost 4 hours in the rain and the mud the internal compartments of the bag were clean and dry! WOW.
